01

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

TMS is a non-invasive therapy that stimulates the brain using magnetic fields. An electromagnetic coil is applied to the top of your head and produces magnetic pulses that stimulate the part of the brain in charge of controlling mood and depression. It is thought to activate parts of the brain that are less active when sad. It is an effective treatment for anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders.

Mental Health Counseling

+

The Water Gap Wellness Center offers mental health counseling services to assist people in managing a variety of mental health disorders, including trauma, depression, and anxiety. Each patient’s particular demands are taken into account when designing counseling sessions. Common forms of mental health counseling can include:

  1. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT aims to alter negative thought and behavior patterns. It is an evidence-based therapy that has been proven successful in treating a number of mental health issues, including post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression.
  2. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT): DBT therapy gives clients the tools needed to better control their emotions and build stronger relationships. It is frequently used to treat conditions like eating disorders and borderline personality disorder (BPD).
  3. Group Therapy: Group therapy provides a supportive environment for individuals struggling with mental health. The benefits of group therapy are built on the principles of peer support and shared experiences. Group therapy can be effective in treating conditions such as substance abuse, depression, and anxiety.

04

Medication Management

+

Our on-staff psychiatrists consult with patients frequently to choose the best medicine to treat their mental health conditions. Throughout the course of the patient’s therapy, we can assist in tracking their development and making any required drug adjustments.

05

Neurofeedback

+

A non-invasive therapy called neurofeedback employs technology to track the patient’s brainwave activity and give them feedback. Patients who use neurofeedback can consciously control their brain waves. The EEG is captured while undergoing neurofeedback. Then, its many components are separated and provided to participants via an online feedback loop as audio, video, or a combination of both. The patient gains knowledge about how to control brain activity and enhance their mental health as a result.

06

Genetic Testing

+

Water Gap Wellness Center offers genetic testing to help detect any genetic predispositions to specific mental health issues and create a customized treatment plan for the patient that can be made using this data.

07

Integrative Medicine

+

We provide integrated medicine services, combining conventional medical care with alternative therapies, including meditation, massage therapy, and acupuncture. This strategy may successfully treat mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.
